“The experience, knowledge and tradition of four generations of winemakers”

The Manola Family emigrated from Romania, Europe 25 years ago. Winemaking comes naturally to them, as they have four generations of winemaking experience behind them.

With this background, experience and understanding of the physical and technical challenges of grape growing and wine making, they have confidence in the product.

They have always dreamed of owning a vineyard in the Okanagan Valley, and in 1996 the dream became a reality. The Manola’s purchased 25 acres of land, cleared it, planted and with a lot of hard work, love and passion it became a well established vineyard of which they were and are very proud. Both Anna and Victor had a wine making and viticulture background that stretches back to their youth.

Anna’s father managed a 600 hectare vineyard and was the wine maker for the winery. From her father, Anna learned the secrets of making a unique fruit wine. Victor shared his father’s experience in grape growing, as back home he managed 25 hectares of vineyard.

A tragic accient took Victor away from Anna on November 10, 2002. Anna and the family has carried on to fulfill the dream, the tradition and the passion.
